Established in 1947, the Alano Club of Vancouver is a registered not-for-profit under the Societies Act, and a registered Charity. We provide programs and services to support the addictions recovery community at no cost to participants, funded by private donations & fundraising events.
If connection is the antidote to addiction, at the Alano, there’s a warm community of like-minded individuals, all on their way to improving their lives.
The board of directors is elected by the Society membership at the annual general meeting each year.
Current by-laws were adopted by the membership and registered in 2021.
